Who is eligible to trade in a device?

New or current Clarity Wireless subscribers with a qualifying transaction, which includes new activations, add-a-lines, or upgrades with a device purchase are eligible to trade in their phone.

How do I trade in my old device?

Using the tool above, get an estimate for the value of your device before completing your upgrade. Just tell us the make, model, and condition of your old phone and we'll give you a quote for your trade-in value. If your phone has any value, you have two ways to trade in the device:

  1. Trade in at a Clarity Wireless store: For the easiest trade-in experience, we encourage you to go to one of our stores to trade in your old device for a new one. Store locator
  2. Trade in online: If you can't get to a store, you can use the online trade-in tool to trade in your device once you're a customer. For this option, you can turn in your Trade-in device at a store or you'll need to be able to print the shipping label, then pack and ship your old device to us. Note that when you ship it, you'll be responsible for accurately evaluating and packing the device so that it remains in the same condition (as originally indicated) during shipping. Clarity Wireless is not responsible for any damage sustained during shipping.

If I am financing my device do I have to pay it off prior to trading it in?

To trade in a device you are currently financing, you have to pay off your remaining balance before you can start the trade-in process. Visit your local Clarity Wireless store or call 1-877-870-8901 for additional information.

Why should I trade in my old device?

When you trade in your old device, it's a win-win for both you and Clarity Wireless. A device trade-in provides you some initial credit to help with a new device purchase or start-up costs like a device down payment, device taxes, or extra accessories. For Clarity Wireless, we still see value in the devices consumers no longer want. To get started, get an estimate for your device using the tool above.

Can I trade in a device without an estimate?

If you can't get an estimate for your device, then no trade-in value is available for it. To trade in a device, you must verify that it has some value using the online tool above.

How many devices can I trade in?

You can trade in five device per active line per month at the time you upgrade or activate a new line of service. See our Device Recovery Program Terms and Conditions for details.

I changed my mind. Can I get my old device back?

Device trade-in transactions are final. After you accept the trade-in credit and send us your phone, you cannot get it back.
